SMEC Co. Ltd regards personal information of the users as important and complies with the law regarding the promotion of information and communication network use and protection of information. Through this policy, the company informs them of the purpose and method of company’s using the personal information.
In case of modification thereof, the company will make public notice of it through bulletin board of website (or individual notice). This policy will be effective on the first day of January, 2016.

Article 1 (Purpose of Use of Personal Information)
The company uses personal information for the following purposes. The collected personal information will not be used for other purposes than the following purpose and in case there is a change to the use of purpose, the company will take necessary action such as obtaining consent from the users according to Article 18 of personal information protection act.

Article 3 (Personal Information Retention and Use of Period)
The company retains the collected personal information according to the following criteria.
• Personal information collected through customer support menu : 1 year
• Internet log record: 3 months
• Exception: until the investigation is completed if it is in progress due to violation of relevant act and subordinate statute


Article 4 (Right of Denial against Collection of Personal Information)
(1) Users go through the agreement procedure against personal information the company collects and collection will be done only if the user’ agreement is made.
(2) Users can deny collection of personal information by not agreeing to the collection of personal information.
