High Productivity Turning Center with Wedge Y-axis and Sub-Spindle to Enable Complete Machining

The SMEC NS 2100·2600 Y/SY Series offers 6~12-inch main spindles, a wedge Y-axis and BMT turrets. The SY models incorporate a sub-spindle, allowing OP10 and OP20 turning and milling operations with one setup. With Roller Type LM Guides on all axes, a 30° slant bed with low center of gravity, and opposing main and sub-spindles, the machine reduces non-cutting time while minimizing thermal growth and cutting vibration, achieving high speed and high precision machining.
