The SMEC GB Series is a grinding turning center designed for machining semiconductor related materials like ceramics, SiC and quartz, where precision and surface quality are critical. By combining the base structure of a turning center with a dedicated grinding system, it efficiently performs a wide range of grinding processes. With a spindle structure that suppresses vibrations and thermal growth, a bed and feed system with excellent rigidity, and a sealed structure that prevents dust ingress, the GB series ensures high quality and machine durability even with demanding materials.
