High Rigidity Box Guide Machining Center for Heavy Duty Cutting and Machining Large Components

The SMEC LCV Series is a vertical machining center that provides high quality heavy duty cutting capabilities and high precision during long machining cycles with their high rigidity beds with low center of gravity and box guideways on all axes. The LCV 6700 offers a choice between BBT40 or BBT50 spindles, enabling both general purpose precision machining and powerful heavy duty cutting. The LCV 850 and LCV 1060 with their large work envelopes and maximum workpiece payloads are optimized for heavy duty machining of large components such as aircraft structural components.
