The SMEC NS 1600T2Y2 is a multi-tasking turning center with opposing left and right spindles and upper and lower BMT55 turrets that can operate independently. And with a single setting, turning and milling processes in OP10 and OP20 can be completed in a single setup. Each turret is equipped with an 80mm(±40mm) Y-axis. And with Roller LM Guides on all axes, pre-tensioned ballscrews with both end fixed, and a 45° slant bed, the NS 1600T2Y2 offers fast feedrates and high precision machining capabilities.
